Fish are generally okay.
Some tanks dirty, with dead or sick fish, but overall fine.
The rest of the store, however, is a shame.
There are always sick and/or plucked birds (usually finches and budgies), they keep their "store amazon" Romeo in a cage barely large enough for a cockatiel, they sell dogs from puppy mills, they sell mutts (mixed breeds) as "designer breeds" for sometimes close to $1,000 (if you want a MUTT, go to the Eau Claire Animal Shelter instead), they keep sometimes 4+ guinea pigs in small aquariums, rabbits are kept in tiny aquariums as well.
Their prices are also insanely high, even on fish (come ON, $7 for a blue devil damsel? One can go almost anywhere else and get them for around $3.).
While the staff tends to be friendly and knowledgable, that doesn't really make up for all of the bad points of the store.
