Blue Sierra Exotic Fish & Supply

I have to say that I am a long term customer of Blue Sierra BECAUSE of Doris. She is the most knowledgeable aquariust I have ever known. She will tell you her opinion, which I value. Time after time she has given me advice that was helpful and made recommendations that ultimately saved me from exiting the hobby. She has developed a rapport over the years not only with myself, but also with my family and many friends -who she enticed into aquaria- because of her knowledge, enthusiasm and interest in the customer. I happen to know many other customers to Blue Sierra who also continue to do business because of Doris. So, if you think she is rude, you are mistaken. I can't imagine what type of experience you are looking for in a LFS, but if you are there to evaluate customer service and looking for sweet and nice and pathetic, go to PetSmart. I'll go to Blue Sierra for knowledge, selection and good fish conversation.

The lady that works here (her name is Doris) is rude. We had some basic questions on tanks and she "huffed & puffed" at us when we asked questions. VERY rude body language as well! We as well as a couple that was with us will never return as long as she is around. The factoria location has very nice & helpful staff though. I didn't know at first that the factory store was the same owners & when I told the staff about the rude lady at another store they instantly knew who I was talking about. Makes me wonder why she is still around since we were obviously not the 1st to be mistreated by her. The store overall had a pretty good variety of fish and supplies. The prices are fair as well, better than most.

A great store for marine aquarists. One of the employees spent 45 minutes helping us with a beginner's saltwater setup. Fish are healthy. Saltwater selection is good, freshwater is smaller. Store was willing to order equipment they didn't stock.
