Clark Feed & Seed

I've been to many fish stores in my life, this one has enthusiastic knowledgeable staff and a great selection of fish from hard to find and never seen to the most common. Everything looked great.

I am setting up a new discus tank after a few years without one and I find Larry to be very knowledgeable. He has been very helpful in advising me in the proper setup of a discus tank and in keeping me patient. An excellent selection of plants.

I am a newbie to the fish world and I found the staff to be very helpful. On return visits, they remember me and always have slowed me down when I wanted to introduce too many fish too fast. My only complaint is that I wasn't warned about snails in my live plants and now I own many snails!

The low review is mostly due to the customer service, or lack thereof. If you need any advice regarding your aquarium you can count on the store manager being condescending and rude. I live in Bellingham and refuse to come here any longer after repeated encounters when her answers to my questions were unnecessarily filled with snooty remarks and a petty attitude. This behavior extends to half of the employees as well, though I will say that just as many are very friendly and helpful.

As far as the fish go, there is an excellent selection of plecos, tetras, and New World Cichlids. Their Tanganyika Cichlid selection is decent, but they have many more tanks devoted to Lake Malawi.

excellent selection of corydora catfish and many exotic varieties of algae eaters. (one visit yielided 5 kinds of otocinclus) . i cant visit often as i come from canada but i will always stop in if i can and am never disappointed

Lots of tanks, good place to buy tetras and plants... not much in the way of cichlids, but a good place for beginners.
