![]() This store only is open to sell and not to have a happy aquarium. The owner talks people into buying items that is not needed or that the fish will not eat and then will not take it back. Samantha 15:02:53 5/08/2011 |

![]() the middle eastern man does not know shit. I called them asking if they had discus they told me they did and I said what sizes, colors and prices, the middle eastern man told me 6 inches and they are 40 dollars. I thought that was a really good deal.I asked if they take trades ins he said yes, I brought 25 silvers dollars to them. the middle eastern guy looked them said I had 5 silver dollars and they rest where pacus and prannias. which they wheren't they where all silver dollars. I tried to argue with him and tell him that there are 25 different sp. of silver dollars and he said no there not. and said they are pacus and prannias. I own the fish store and you don't. I came all the way to there place from plano in traffic which took me a hour and a half to two hours and the fish needed air. so I said what ever man what is my store credit he said I can't give you much, I give you 20 dollars. then he said what fish you want and I said I want the 4 inch discus you said you have, which you don't have. the discus he had where 2 inches and 40 dollars. the middle eastern man then grabs 20 dollars out of my hand and goes and gets the discus puts in in a bag, and says have fun with the discus. then pushes me out the door and locks it and tells me they are closed. FUCK KELLER FARMS. THEY LIE CHEAT AND STEAL, don't go to this fish shop. if you are looking for good quilty discus go to usa aquarium trading in plano, abt tropical in richardson, or dallasdiscus.com in garland. joe 03:33:01 4/08/2009 |
![]() Here is a piece of advice for anyone going to this store. I would only go on Saturdays. Sometimes it can get very crowded, but they have a really good employee that only works that day. I do not know her name but she is a younger lady. i would trust her but be careful about some of the other people like the new owners! a shimmer of hope 13:14:58 8/09/2006 |
![]() Hey I am glad that someone else finally stepped up and commented on this store. I finally made it out there (I had heard about this store for years) and let me say I was totally dissapointed. They do have a decent selection of fish- mostly Africans, but most of their staff did not know anything. I will admitt that there were a couple-2! people who seemed to know what they were talking about. As for the owners, my six year old son knows more about fish than they do! dissapointed 13:12:30 8/09/2006 |
![]() I have recently read some reviews on other sites saying that they prefer these new owners to the old. Let me tell you something. The old owners may have been rude but that was becasue of the stress of being FORCED to sell by their own family members. The old owner were very knowledgable, the fish looked good, and prices were great! Yes, the store did look a little run down but again that was because the workers were not allowed to do any improvements. I agree with annonymous 12:49:17, that they did try to sell me to huge illegal fish that are out in their ponds just because I had been there before and they thought I was an idiot. I do not suggest going to Keller Farms anymore. They have a horrific employee turn over rate because the employees are fed up with the crap that the owners do. The owners could not answer my simplest questions like will on fish go with another. In my most recent visit (Hey I am desperate for a place for fish-Wishful thinking) they had so many dead fish floating or sick fish laying around. The place, I will admit looks cleaner than it did but overall, this store is not worth the trouble.

![]() Recently the store changed ownership and it has really gone down hill. These new people no nothing about fish until they bought the place. They are willing to try and sell people they recognize two illegal fish they had traded in. I heard an employee tell the owners that the fish was illegal. The owners do not care. Do not trust what the middle eastern people have to say about the fish. annonymous 12:49:17 8/09/2006 |
