World of Wet Pets

Extremely knowledgeable staff -- they will work with you with any questions/treatments. I remember the owner of the store from the Wet Spot. Can't say the selection is drop dead amazing...but then again, I'm one of those people who thinks the Wet Spot is definitely not 'all that' when it comes to selection (hey, sometimes I just want a huge selection of swordfish or angels, not just 10 in tank in between some crazy ultra rare half finned Malaysian Peruvian Amazonian Arowana from Mars for $215). Store is clean, bright and nice, parking is plentiful, staff is helpful, fish are robust and definitely healthy. What more could you ask for?

This is the place to go if you want to avoid horrible customer service from the Wetspot. Live stock is good but there staff is very helpful and not RUDE AT ALL I ratter go to a place where am treated l like a real person not a sub-human.

Very nice staff that knows a ton but isn't afraid to say "I'm not sure" GOOD PRICES. One of the better stores in Portland. Always try to stop by when I'm on the west side.

There are no stores in town even remotely like The World of Wet Pets. The staff is well versed in both salt and fresh and their plant section is the biggest in town. I always shop there first and try elsewhere if they don't have it or don't carry it. Eric is always fun and Jerry will find the fish you need. Fun store, great prices!! and worth a look see.

It's an okay shop, but as a Wet Spot customer I can see that Eric basically ripped off the designs of his old boss. Last time I was in, the salt water system looked like a petco unit and the girl sat behind the counter and ignored me.

This is a great fish store! The owner
is a real kick, the staff knows their
stuff, and they have a great selection
of fresh and salt water fish. It's clean, well maintained, and very
friendly! It's worth the drive across town to give them the business!
