 I loved this place when my father took me there as a child. Now that I have children of my own and moved back to the area I'm a regular customer at Ely's. Mr Ely really knows his stuff and is willing to share his knowledge. Prices are more than fair and there' s just no other place like this on the face of the earth.  Nice selection of fish but they are a bit overpriced, at least for the fish that I was interested in. The owner is very knowledgable and I believe they have been there since the first quarter of the 1900's. Bring along your rubber boots if you go there after an extended period of rain. Hey Art: Just FYI, Ely's has been in business for over 46 years. You don't stay in a small business for this amount of time if you are priced over 3 times anyone else. check your facts. |
 The owner was very helpful but the item's are extremely over-priced!!! I found the pricing to be 3 to 4 times what I would've paid if I purchased same on-line. I was charged $20 dollars for 500ml bottle of PHOSGUARD and $30 for BIO SPIRA MARINE. Online prices were $5 and $7 respectively. I will never make this kind of foolish mistake again and store's like Ely's do not have a long future.

| Ely's has a large range of tropical, cyclid, and goldfish/koi. All of the fish are of high quality. Store is their for selling product, not for looking modern. Owners are very knowledgable. |
