Great store!!! Funniest thing i've ever read below!!! haha must be a friend of the guys who work there!!! Great group of workers who have an endless supply of knowledge...as for the 2nd review below mine!!! Probably a competeing store...the guys at trop know their stuff i'm a marine biology major and austin and brent have their degrees i'm always asking them for their opions and answers about coral and fish...their prices are the same as live aquarias and even cheaper when u factor in shipping at 49.95...Plus you get to see and inspect the specimen and can watch it for a few days!!!not to mention when u buy online, the added stress of shipping to your door and the weather...i've gotten ick too many times from fish ive bought online even when i QT and dipped them before placing in my reef system!!!

If your also into fresh water they have a bigger selection than they do for saltwater believe it or not!!!

I only buy from one place and thats trop!!! My tank was nominated for tank of the month on reefcentral.com and about 90% of my live stock and hardware came from trop!!! Check out my tank..NJMAXIMA on reefcentral...than make your own decision!!!

ridiculously high prices like twice or three times as high as other stores, they aren't that knowledgeable for reef keeping either.. someone had talked the place up, and when i had finally find time to go there i was disappointed

HUGE selection of both freshwater and saltwater fish. A fish-only pet center. Large supply section, beautiful display tanks, well cared fish for and knowlegeable staff. Prices a bit high, but it's not a chain store. Good fish prices on the weekends with buy one get one half off sale. Will try to accomodate special requests if you bring them the scientific names of your desired species.

Overall a nice store, even if you just go to look around.
