Exotic Aquatics

I am not sure which guy with the pony tail. there is a young who does not really know anything about fish. he is probably just a helper. I have not had any interaction with that old guy in pony tail. So I have no idea what people are saying.

I agree that they don't stock the more colorful cichlids anymore. A couple of weeks ago I saw 3 beautifyl aulonocaras (blue, red, combination) but I could not buy them yet b/c my 75g tank was still cycling. then last week I went to get them- they were all gone. I was so angry at myself.

We love this fish store. We have three tanks and even though they are mostly full we still go there once a week just to see what they have. The employees are very friendly and know their stuff! The guy with the pony tail is an ass though! Very ignorant to customers. Won't even acknowledge you. When he has to walk past you he doesn't even say excuse me or anything. Lol... talking to some of the employees they don't seem to like him either. They did say he keeps the tanks up and running and all the fish in good health. They always have healthy happy fish. We have never had a problem with any of their fish. Store is always clean and well stocked. And if you get them to put you in their system when you check out you get a $5.00 coupon when you spend so much (I can't remember what it is). We hope this fish store never goes anywhere we would be lost without them!!

The store is always kept clean, and there are normally lots there to help with any questions. Since I own reef tank I mostly look at the saltwater fish, and they have a wide variety and are reasonably priced. As far as the guy with the pony tail is concerned, I think that he's just mad that he gives people good advice. They don't like what they hear, and like complete asses they don't take his advice and end up killing some really beautiful fish in the process. So don't let others opinions discourage you from going to this beautifully kept store. Truly the best in B-more.

This store is very clean,kept, and organized. The guys who work here know their stuff . The salt water selection is quite big . Bigger then the salt water section at the aquarium center. They lack in cichlid species but it's not a big deal. The service or friendlyness varies from worker to worker. Yeah the dude with the ponytail seems a little bitter . Maybe he's angry that people buy the fish he takes care of on a regular basis. The dreadhead dude is friendly. By the way prices are fine . But saltwater fish can be a fortune like they usually are. everywhere. You should of seen this amazing Batfish they had a couple weeks ago .

The store has a nice selection,is well kept and fresh , and pricing isn't bad. Service is good at times bad at others. May be the best aquarium store in Baltimore county.

The old guy with the ponytail is an ass to customers. Was an ass to me on several occasions. I have spent over 1,000$ Hope he doesnt own the place or I am driving across town.
