Great Store. The people being mean to the lady at this store need to get a life. She's super nice. Besides, the people complaining don't even know how to spell basic words. How can they possibly know anything about fish?

 I've been to nearly every fish store in the state of Colorado, and I know for a fact that I've been to each one in the Denver Metro area. I know my fish, and I love my African Cichlids. I used to ONLY buy my fish from the Denver Cichlidarium but since he went out of business, I was hard pressed to find any other place worth buying fish at.... With that being said, I was so relieved to find Golden Fish. It is the first fish store that sells exotic fish that actually knows how to take care of her livestock. Their tanks are PRISTINE, and their tank cleanings are efficient and immaculate. They take the time to do the job correctly, and they respect the work. (Which you can tell by the fact that there are NEVER any dead fish in their store.) -- The lady who owns the store, Julie, is a great lady with a good heart. She runs the store with that compassion in mind. She KNOWS her customers, and takes EXCELLENT care of everyone who walks in the door. Poor customers love to come onto these websites to complain about good customer service and try and ruin the good names of good people. Sometimes people have valid points, but Julie's "poor" customer service is not one of them. I suggest this store over any other fish store in Denver, and I dare you to find any other store with better livestock, prices, and customer service. Don't take this website's word for it, go see her yourself. |

 I had heard about this store online and went today to check it out me and my son walk in and the woman sitting there did not greet us or ask if we needed help just looked at us its not like she was busy we we're the only ones in the store bout 5 minutes later she walks up and asks us if we were gonna buy some fish I told her yes that we were just looking... the store had some pretty cool fish in it then I asked her about a fish I saw she totally ignored my question like she didn't even hear me I'm thinkin to myself I don't know what her problem is? Shouldn't she be trying to help me I am after all coming to HER store to buy HER fish! anyway I found the two fish I wanted she baged them rang me up total came to 14.78 then she told me I had to pay cash for it I didn't have cash I planned to pay with my visa then she pulls out a sign from her counter that says 15.00 credit card minimum like I should have known! Like I could have even seen the sign down there uhh hello!!! And also over .22 cents! I asked her if she took checks and she rudely said no and turned around took the fish back threw them in the tank and walked away I will never ever go back to that store again whoever that lady was was copmpletely rude from the minute we walked in I should have sensed it then... Its is called customer service its not that much to ask for! Espicially because I was nice the whole time she definitely lost a good customer from me and everyone I will tell I will continue to spend my money for my fish and supplies at the fish den where there always helpful and THANKFUL your coming to there business to give them business!!! |

 Cichlid specialists, but they carry some intriguing exotics. Generally very healthy fish who survive the trip home to the mountains well. NO SALTWATER. Well worth stopping in to see the selection. Constantly changing, but always interesting. glo 12:41:51 10/14/2006 |
