![]() I really like this store for supplies and plants. Their stock of plants is usually great and they carry a ton of hard to find or get equipment. I have had decent results from their fish stock, but would mainly recommend them for their supplies and advice. They carry a ton of types of decorative rocks and wood, and many types of food and supplies that are hard to acquire elsewhere. The staff is friendly and helpful, but if going out for fresh water fish specimen only I would reccomend going elsewhere, as their marine stock is more impressive than their fresh water. ![]() Always gotten healthy stock from this store, but then I treat my tanks whenever I add a new specimen. They have a great plant selection with roots, and always have duckweed for your plant munchers to feast upon. The store isn't impressive looking. The aisles are horribly narrow and it's hard to get around in this store, but I've found a pretty good selection here, and not had trouble with any of my purchases. Good prices, good sales, some used equipment for those of us who aren't rich, and a staff who is helpful, quick and knowledgeable. Use normal precautions (a quarantine tank if you've got expensive setups) and you won't go wrong. glo 12:39:07 10/14/2006 |
![]() Bought 25 lbs of live rock for my first saltwater tank and it's doing great. Excellent rock for a good price. After the first week I started to see new healthy growth on it and am looking to buy some more. Will be back. Thanks! Robert 06:05:27 3/11/2006 |
I have had very poor luck here. Several times I've ended up with sick fish, or fish that died within a week for no apparent reason. Most recently I aquired a pleco that seemed healthy, survived quarentine, and proceeded to kill over $300 in fish in my other tank. How do I know it was this fish? The other's had lived with no other fish in that tank for quite some time and were extreamly healthy. Jaime 16:32:43 7/05/2005 |
