 I haven't been here lately because I live 3 hours away but in the past the discus selection was great if you asked enough questions and got to see the back room and the back house portion where they are bred.  This is a good place to go for bred on-site bettas and Discus. The fish are heathy but it is true that as the store is not huge, neither is the variety. The bettas are not aclimated to anything but live food, so be prepared for that if you buy. The woman who watches the store is FAR less friendly/helpful than her husband. This may not be very PC to say, but I have felt many times I would have gotten better service is I were Chinese, even though I have spent quite a bit of money there. Bear Cub 16:09:21 3/03/2006 |
 They have fresh Baby Brine Shrimp every day! He sells them for $1 a bag. Good deal! Those BBS raised my tads very well. The first time we went in, the lady who works there kept saying "You Buy Something?" over and over when we were looking at the fish. Sorta funny, but sorta "whatever...."

 Not much selection overall for tropical fish, but extremely large selection for angelfish, and excellent prices at that. Was around $2 for good sized ~1+" ones. Small ones were only $1.50, and larger ones $3. Got a nice pearlscale albino and black marble veil for $3 each a while ago...still very vibrant and healthy.  I found it too crowded. Not much variety. They have lot of guppies, tiny fish. The discus tanks are dirty and fish look depressed. This store may have been a nice store but is in need of spring cleaning and a serious remodeling. Goods are old and very dusty. I would not buy from them. I felt sad for the discus fish.
