![]() The fish here seem healthy and the tanks are clean. But customer service left something to be desired. I went in to ask about care for my new betta. No one offered any help or even greeted us until I flagged someone down, even though we were the only customers there. Every question I had was answered with derision and (as I later found) inaccuracy. "Bettas like small spaces".... "you can feed them bloodworms every day"....They have bettas in tiny bowls just like the big box pet stores and seem to have the same mentality. A friend went there for crickets for her reptiles and when she complained about being shorted several, was brushed off. She and I will never go there again. Joan Z. 02:16:16 10/07/2007 |
![]() Large petstore with a good fresh water fish selection. The marine selection is puny, but the fish looked healthy when I visited. Some of the large freshwater fish are kept at too high density, such as a fish tank containing seven 10-15 inch plecos, sitting next to each other miserably. Low prices on most regular fish, but those fish are on the smaller side. I believe the primary interest of the owner are reptiles and not fish. There is a fantastic grizzly iguana lord residing in the pet store. Verasue 20:26:31 7/28/2007 |
![]() Great place to get fish, well freshwater as far as I know. Lots of selection and the fish are in good health. The employees there are very helpful and have a decent knowledge of fish as well. The plant selection is sparse but the quality is good. Prices are fair for a non-Petco type of place. CJ 11:33:10 2/28/2007 |
