Little evidence of disease. Staff labors under some misconceptions about fish keeping. Fish are slightly overpriced, but returned fish can sometimes be a steal. They rarely have oddball fish, mostly they have the same fish everyone else does. Dry goods and aquariums are very very overpriced.

The tanks are not very well maintained and there is a bit of fish funk in the air.

I stop by every now and then to see if they have any oddball fish or great deals. If you visit, check out "SMUD", the electric eel.

very nice store...has a huge selection of FW and SW...also a couple dozen nice lookin bettas and puffers, almost everything you will ever need for a tank. The staff can been very knowegable unless its very busy...they can forget about customer service so its best to browse first even make a list and then cataloge which fish is where then walk back to the front for help(there is a bell on the counter youll have to ring to get there attention)

After all that if you need to return a fish...even if you didnt buy it there...they will take it for store credit. so instead of being stuck with a fish you dont like or can care for anymore 'return' it to them

I have bought a few things from Capitol Aquarium, But spend more time admiring their store and fish as well as talking to their helpful staff. I like to just go there and check it out. Many different types of fish.
