My wife and I have a 150 gallon freshwater aquarium and are looking for a 50 gallon reef system , and all about fish has my bussiness for this purchase for all the right reasons, PRICE,SERVICE AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL . We went into the store about a week ago and a young man who was cleani ng tanks stopped what he was doing to assist us in picking out a new filter A FLUVAL FX5 and the price was 90 dollars lower than ANY internet price that we could find ,he even took the time to set it up for us at the time of purchase and didnt try to sell me things we didnt need(i wish i could remember his name and I will post it latertodaybecause we are going back to get the 50 gal reef system) .We have been doing bussiness there for 10 years or more and we stopped doing any bussiness there 2 years ago because of a JERK employee who is no longer there , Our only complaint is the MALE owner seems to NEVER remember to order what you purchase that is not in stock so we learned to not order anything and just wait until you see it on the shelf to make the purchase . GREAT GROUP OF YOUNG EMPLOYEES AND A VERY GOOD INVENTORY . EXCEPTIONAL KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT THEY SELL!!! SEE YA GOIN TO GET OUR NEW REEF TANK AND SET UP .

A great store, and great and friendly staff. I have been coming here for years and have never experienced any poor service. The saltwater and marine section is very good. They have a large freshwater section as well. Dry goods, you couldn't ask for more, they have anything you could want. Easily beats The Concord Aquarium, hands down.

I get plants here & decor, i refuse to get any fresh water fish here! Danio tank looked HORRID! half a dozen or more sick fish & i would agree with a below comment of it looks like TB! I do love their plants! I do feel miss lead by i think one of the owners, it was partially my fault i didn't look up the plant info b4 i got it but i asked for a good low light no co2 needed plant (like java or Anubis) i was given a SWORD! i had 18w on my 36g! That think almost totally dies b4 i got my 62 watts up there! I still buy plants here cause they do have a good selection i just have to be 100% sure of what i am getting next time! I love their drift wood & rock selection & they have decent product selection (filters, heaters, chemicals & test kits)

I shop in this store ALL THE TIME! We have a 40 gallon reef set-up. Many people complain about the prices(especially corals) but I would rather pay a little more for an animal that will thrive.
I mainly deal with the owner (or his wife) when I shop there and have NEVER had a problem with their service!
I will continue to shop there as long as I live in this area.

excellent selection. The tanks could be maintained a bit more. Prices were quite expensive, esp for corals. They had a GREAT selection of tanks thats for sure and also a good selection of live plants for fresh water tanks.

I've been here many times and love the selection. but i'll keep this review at 4.5 fish for one reason - price. Be prepared to spend your cash here because prices are high. Freshwater selection is good, but especially if you are a marine / reef tank fan you'll find what you want here.

Their salt water fish were wonderful
HOWEVER
Their freshwater fish were in a sorry state. Many of the tigerbarbs had extremely short fins.. All their zebra danios had tuberculosis... Most of their bettas were caught with tail rot. Numerous dead guppies in the guppy tank, with many having tail rot... poor

If you haven't been to this store then you need to get up and go now! Words can not discribe how awesome it is.... Oh but don't hold your breath for service. You would be better off knowing what your getting before you go. Good for an experienced aquarist who knows whats what.
