So the review is not true to this store.
I read lots of reviews that don't describe the same store - so I wonder how valuable this website's review section really is.

I see that chains with knowledgeable staff make the difference.

I went to the brand new Petsmart in Santa Clara or maybe Sunnyvale on El Camino. I don't patronize large chains but I desparately needed wet food for a sick cat, so I stopped to look at the fish.

The tanks were very small and crowded. There were dead fish in several of the tanks. A cloud of "waste" filled a tank as an employee was trying to trap fish for a customer.

They had pea puffers there and they were very small. I asked what they fed their puffers and was told "flakes". ARGH. These fish are carnivores! No wonder they looked so small.
