![]() good prices and good selection.... and seemingly low rate of lfs diseases. Studio City shops have sold sad little sick fish that didn't make it out of the quarantine moment, but they seem to care about their stock. the shop is small, but clean, the f/w rocks - cool inverts and awesome s/w. I haven't had troubles with fish from there, always a great selection and as for goldies...goldfish - orandas: awesome!!! and the koi! it's hard to go in and not go home with a new friend for the pond. Some complain about parking - yes, it is hollywood, yes it is a strip mall, yes there are lots of cars - we've always gotten a space right out front or on a side street a short walk away. Worth it for the crazy prices. You will pay way more for some things - but support mom and pop, because the savings on the golden ticket items are so phenom, it's worth a dollar more for a jar of purple up instead of web shopping. ![]() The place is pretty tiny, but wow are they sufficient with space! They have a really great selection of freshwater fish and most often times look to be in great shape. The employees are attentive and helpful, and will answer any question you have to the best of their ability. The prices are pretty good too. All in all it's a great place to go. The only con I would say is that it has no warranty on any of their live stock, so if you should have the misfortune of buying a fish with ick or something you're out of luck.

![]() anazing what they have done with such a small place.. you can tell how much they value space when u see their 15ft tall bioball tank, all the fish they had were healthy and you could see all the sumps and uv sterilizers in actions.. VERY nice display tank with acans and anything you can think of.. didnt have any moorish idols so im kind of disappointed but i will bring my friends to see the fw/sw array of fish serser 22:22:03 12/30/2009 |
![]() Place is very small, parking is tough in this strip mall with a one way driveway. Once inside you feel cramped as you walk through. The selection of coral and saltwater fish is pretty good. F/W is good too. They seem to take care of some tanks up front pretty well. Prices are pretty fair I would say. Thumbs up. Skipper 17:37:59 8/08/2009 |

![]() Yo's is a pretty small pet shop. They carry freshwater fish and sometimes they have cherry shrimp and dwarf lotus at pretty good prices. But if you're in that area you should visit Oranda on 7318 1/2 Santa Monica Blvd, they has a very nice selection of fish(fresh & marine), plants, tanks and extra lg size size supplies and a nice selection of Amano books. furyokids 13:18:02 3/24/2008 |
![]() small store in a strip mall, not a huge selection of sw & coral. prices were pretty high. Tanks weren't in realy good condition. I would only go back if I was close by somehow. The guys were eager to help so that was a plus. anonymous 14:43:01 3/09/2008 |
