 I like this place it has some nice fish here we usually go here to pick up common and black moor goldfish here and some kois too but recently i've gotten a ball python from the reptile show in san jose, ca and what not a better way than to go and pick up some feeder mice for my beautiful snake but yeah love the common and rare fishes here always go here alot can't wait to go here again might beg my mother to take me tomorrow lol. just to get out of the house but this store is very nice it is a bit crowded but yeah not only is getting the feeder mice for my snake cool but also i've got to thank this store and my step-father for bringing home that beautiful big, active, always eating everything common goldfish on who I call none other than "Big-Bone" I love that fish so much as much as I love my pet snake i'm even thinking about moving big-bone in a water pond to put in my snakes tank so they can be housed together maybe? but idk? This was the place where I started my first job. I love it. Moon has everything you could want in a fish store. Yes the place is small and very busy, but really, why mess with a good thing. If Moon doesn't have what you’re looking for ask him, he'll get it. If you have any questions he or his staff can answer it. I don't know any of the new employees but work with Moon or his daughter. This is the best place 2 go. They have Apistogrammas, rare exotic fish, salt H2O fish, corals & food 4 reptiles (crickets, king meal worm & mice. I picked up some Apistos & they R doing just fine. Not many fish store carry dwarf cichlids & if they do it's only the basic (Kribs & rams). Superway aquarium has Apistogrammas Cacatoides (red flash, double red, triple red) Borelli (gold face blue) Agassizii (double red) Hongsloi (blue/yellow) Macmasteri (wild) Nijsseni (panda) Steindachneri (wild) Trifasciata (blue) Viejita & they have a few more but don't remember what kind. They even have Dicrossus Filamentosus (checker board) Nannacara Anomala (golden eye) Ramirezi (german blue) not just the asian breed also Bolivian rams 2. Lots of other rare fish like African Pike (Ode) African Tiger, Peacock Bass (Tamensis) 2 many 2 list. A must go 2 fish store. Ps. Very good prices 2. |

Very cramped and dirty... The lame asian boys working there had no clue when it came to saltwater fish. They had a poor little powder brown tang that was totally covered in ich and were trying to sell it to me as a Naso!!!!! Ofcourse I did not buy or want to buy any fish from such a dump! All the salt H20 fish looked ill or like they were knocking on death's door. It really makes me sad & very angry to see saltwater fish taken from the wild only to end up in some half-assed store that only cares about making a quick buck with no regard to the animal or the preservation of the species at all!! When you walk in you'll be greeted by a mexican gargoyle. A real person who acts like a gargoyle and stares at you and your every move. Very scary and lessens the mood to shop. Nice selection with low prices. I bought a 100 feeder goldfish for $5, well worth it. Workers are cocky, I think they would rather spit on me rather than to recieve my money that I would spend. As the past reviewer said, don't try to bargain with them on multiple purchases. They will BITCH the hell out of you. That reviewer was correct. The lady shouted "WE DON'T DO DISCOUNTS, THE FISHES HERE ARE LOW ENOUGH PRICES AS IS." All and all, service was LOW, prices for fishes were NICE and store is just the tiniest place. Kind of reminds me of my bathroom LOL. |
Tiny store, really tiny. Store is good in selection as well as price is fair. Service sorta cocky or bitchy. Overall service was weak, I tried to ask for discount on multiple purchase and got turned down. I would go to this store if I was desperate. |
Good customer service, Excellent in variety selection of freshwater fishes (Affordable price) including rare species like Bichirs, Arowanas, etc. Saltwater fishes seem to be limited in selection but the prices speak for itself. You get more bang for the buck, 1$ of feeder worms and brine shrimp is alot compared to other fish stores. Fish decorations is alot and the filters, heaters, misc. is great selection although the price tends to be heavy on the wallet. I really want to give this store 4 stars for being such a little shop with so much in it. Even though I HATE the Raiders - he has an awesome Raider tank combo package. The selection is 95% fresh and the saltwater had a mild case of ick but over-all a cool little hole in the wall. Tanks seemed mildly over-stocked but healthy. As mentioned previously I saw little turtles and piranha's. NO prices but who is fooled by that for God's sake - just say how much forthe little turtle? and here you go.
