Fish Store Review dot com - Atlantic Tropical

Ive been here before and after they remodeled and honestly there is no improvement. The water quality isnt great for the fish either, did i mention it stinks? The people who work there have little knowledge other than general care. i dont know how they afford all those big tanks in there but it doesn't impress me at all when u throw in overcrowded sharks/fish in them. The prices change every hour, selection isn't that great, and the service is horrible and rude. My party almost got into a fight with the employees due to unmeasurable disrespect some time ago. AVOID at all cost.

Whats the point of giving this place a rating it's a waste of time .. prices change everyday .. i ask the owner for two purple tangs and this guy said"its to much work for 2 fish " i couldnt believe what he said

I cant believe i actually came to this store i heard bad reviews and yet i still went why? i dont know will i go again ?when hell freezes over !! .Horrible place to do business i didnt see any and i mean ANY!! healthy looking fish to buy even with the lights dim you could still see how awfull the livestocks were . To my eyes all the fish were ready die breathing fast scrapping againts the rocks ,and colors faded .Most of the blue tangs were covered with ich all over their body nothing for them to do except to scrape themselves on the rock or the sand . You guys need to clean up your act i wouldnt recommend this store to the living or the dead .

I would like to tell everyone not to do business with the people at atlantic tropical fish store becuase of the appearance of the saltwater fish most are in pretty bad shape full of ich and colors are not bright .The service is not good,the price you buy the fish is what you pay for so dont expect a healthy fish. I thought i was going to get some nice fish with great prices ,but i was wrong all i got was to see how sick the fish were.

This fish store is the greatest !! sike !! worst store ever .I wanted to buy some saltwater fish but the person that was helping me didnt want to sell me anything he told me " i asked to many questions" uhhh duhhh when u buy something of course you have to ask questions and you expect answers . I felt the customer service suck and the guy that was helping me had an attitude problem he kept trying to avoid simple questions example : will this fish get along w/this fish simple question he gave no answer and just kept looking at me .I would ask him how much is this fish .Of course he kept , changing the prcie talking bout its on sale how was on sale when he gave me 3 different prices and the price went up wow!! I was going to spend a lot of money at this store good thing i didnt because alot of the fish looked stress or had some kind of parasite on their body .Im glad i didnt waste my money at this store becuase i could have bought a sick fish and would have gotten all my other fish sick.l The price on the website is cheap but when you go to the store dont expect to get that deal wholesale prices i think not .Aquatic outlet in inglewood is good spot to buy healthy looking fish the price is pretty expensive though ,but paying more for a healthy fish is worth it . ATA sucks i got an advice for them take care of your fish you scum bags you guys might sell something one day caution when going to buy fish at this store .

I thought the fish store was going to be bigger ,but it had some pretty good saltwater fish selection that i was able to look at. I would have bought some fish untill further inspection the fish i wanted and what i observed that most of the the fish they had where infected with ich too bad i dont like dealing with sick fish especially when it comes to saltwater. The customer service wasnt that good and the price on the website sounded awsome but when i got to the store the price of fish and corals change .

I drove from santa monica to this store thinking their prices will be worth it boy was i wrong ! the price of livestock change eventhough i brought a copy of their web site price . The store is too cramp the fish look stress .Most fish in the store were either on their side or scrapping themselves on rocks .. The owner wasnt very helpful his intention were just to make a quick buck .The only good thing about this store was i live far far away from it .

Take your chances with this place, sometimes they have good deals and good livestock, sometimes diseased livestock and inflated prices! All this depends on who is helping you and how greedy they are feeling that day. If the owner and his posse aren't around the shady employess will offer "backdoor" deals, cash only! ENGRISH spoken at this store, staff is not knowledgeable, don't expect too much.

Don’t get lured into shopping at this store, their goal is to take you for whatever they can get away with. They offer low quality products, questionable livestock, and their idea of customer service is working a bait and switch. Choose not to do business with a dishonest store and spend money some ware else.

This store is a piece of s%$&. The should be reported for false advertising on there website. They had nothing advertised on there site in the store not one item. I wont be going there nor should anyone else.

Um. they have fish that are very cheap adn good quality and there meds are cheap, but the water smells and the owner sucks in english.

store looks big on the Net, but its a lfs in a shopping ctr. Too many dead fish in tanks 4 me. They had a 6" Discus floating. Pretty hard to miss that! Prices are good. Marine tanks look very clean. 12/06 they are remodeling. Lets hope they clean up their act.
