 A friend who loves out this way brought me here a few weeks ago & i really wasnt that impressed! Lack of everything! no real test kits i say (maybe behind the counter) i just saw a few dropper kits & BUNCH of use 1x paper test strip kits.  The saltwater selection is a good and all the fish seem to be healthy. The freshwater section is to laugh at. I am deeply saddened that they never got a larger selection.
They seem to care more about the fish than the customers, which is not a good practice. I hope they can learn for the benefit of the store. |

Customer Service is awfull, and they don't know how to care for live animals, corals die before they sell... etc. 20 yrs of experience, I really don't belive it, seen the poor shape of live animals. being BIOLOGIST means nothing when the husbandry skill are laking, they might know animals in books, but real hands on experience is what they're lacking, theory does not make an expert. I don't know why store owners review themselfs, the reviews are for customers, not owners. BTW. im not a competitor, or have an illegal business either, and i'm not in the business of discrediting stores, but I post what i see, you want good reviews about your store, then change your attitude toward customers, you want customers to support your store, then be open minded, not always your ways are right, if you had the experience you claim to have, then take better care of your live stock, it is not the hobbiest fault you're incompetent at keeping corals in your store, by either lack of experience or lack of right equipment, but don't blame the people who supported your store in the first place. coral trade among customers that enjoy the hobbie should not be considered "competition" unless you actually sell coral, but due to the poor husbandry skills you have, all you coral die before you can sell it. please don't blame customers, blame your self and learn to care for them. please refer to : Book of Coral Propagation, Volume 1 Edition 2: Reef Gardening for Aquarists by Anthony Calfo (2007) |

 I've been here twice since they've opened and I've not been impressed by the freshwater selection. Saltwater is pretty decent but I'm a freshwater aquarist. They will eagerly offer to order any fish you'd like of course - haven't done that with them yet. They do sell live brine shrimp and prices are decent. Great Place! They have a huge selection of colorful fish, both salt & fresh water. Nice corals & invert tanks too. They also have a lot of tank setups in stock. Good selection of dry goods, fish food & equipment. Their prices were also really good. lower than petsmart & Petco, even as good as walmart or online. And they knew a lot about fish!
